Day 2

First day in Hong Kong after big day traveling yesterday. We were like two little kids on the 747 400!! Flights both great, seats,views and a steward that made sure we were well and truly stocked up on wine for our stay here! 
Arriving last night with the lights and buildings was amazing.  Straight to our hotel and went to bed for a good nites sleep.  Today was first day as tourists so we did all the usual things one does in HK. A sticky day at 34 degrees but not totally unpleasant. Hazy day up the peak, both fascinated by array/types of boat roaming up and down the harbour.  Could have watched for hours.
Light show tonight and hitting the town!  Tomorrow the markets and more playing tourist.

Hope hurricane Irene in New York and the heat wave in Europe mellow over the next few weeks!
Not sure how successful the post is going to be - all the instructions are in Chinese!!!

           

An unusual past week, pleasant at the time and a novelty for sure, but bring on the warmth.

6 sleeps to go. Suit cases are out, clothes are going in, clothes are going out!! Decisions, decisions??
Less is best. Buy on the way they say :-)
